On the evening of Friday, June 28th, there will be a Cross-Zen Dialogue which will bring together three prominent Dharma teachers: Teigen Dan Leighton (Chicago, Ancient Dragon Zen Gate) representing Soto Zen, Meido Moore (Korinji Monastery, WI) representing Rinzai Zen and Guo Gu (DDMBA, Tallahassee Chan Center, FL), representing Chan. Our aim is to learn about similarities and differences in the various traditions and to offer the various Sanghas in Chicagoland an opportunity to get together and to get to know each other.
This event will take place on Friday, June 28, 2019 in downtown Chicago at the Shambhala Center and has been organized by the Chicago Buddhist Meditation Group and DDMBA Chicago.
