
Want to learn how to meditate?
Find out how to begin replacing the common feelings of impatience, anxiety and frustration with that of optimism, peace and stability. Learn and experience the benefits of meditation at our Center on Saturday May 5th from 9AM to 1:30 PM.
Dan Baker will guide you through the Chan method of walking and seated meditation practice. You'll also learn a series of unique exercises called "8-Chan Movement" which is a combination of Hatha Yoga and Chinese Tao-Yin. It brings health to your body and settles the mind preparing it for meditation. Dan will also emphasize the importance of Dharma which will deepen your understanding on the principles of meditation and it's practice. A delicious vegetarian lunch is provided around noon. We suggest wearing loose comfortable clothing.
