Chanting Weekend with Venerable Guo Xing
Tentative Schedule:
Intro to Chanting. A lecture in English on the purpose and methods of chanting. This lecture is for mainly Westerners, who are new to chanting.
Chanting: Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Repentance Ceremony. Ceremony in Mandarin.
Amitabha Chanting, followed by 1 hour discussion with Fashi (English) and vegetarian lunch.
The Role and Methods of Chanting Ceremonies in Chan Practice. This lecture will be in Mandarin Chinese, mainly for regular chanting practioners.
